Location: Chicago, IL

Type: Travel Contract

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 8-Hour Day Shift (7 AM - 3 PM), 40 hours per week

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Invasive Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a travel assignment in Chicago, IL. This role involves scrubbing in for cardiac catheterization procedures and working with specialized equipment, such as Impella, aortic balloon pumps, and arterial lines. The Cath Lab has three procedure labs and handles both Cath and EP patients, providing an excellent opportunity to expand your skills in a top-tier facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Scrub in for cardiac catheterization procedures
Operate Impella devices, aortic balloon pumps, and arterial lines
Support patient safety and care during procedures
Collaborate with the Cath Lab team for optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab
Active BLS and ACLS certifications
Proficiency with Impella, aortic balloon pumps, and arterial lines
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission

Additional Requirements:

On-call requirements: 4-5 weeknight call shifts as needed
Weekend rotation: One full weekend or two shifts per 4-week block
Holiday coverage: Call as needed
