Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Galveston, TX. This role involves working 4x10s in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab, where you'll play a critical role in patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in cardiac care and thrive in high-pressure environments. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to enhance your skills in a city known for its rich history and scenic beauty.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care during cardiac catheterization procedures, including pre- and post-procedure care.
Monitor patient vitals and sedation levels, ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Administer medications and manage patient sedation as required.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Active RN license in Texas.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
At least 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or critical care setting.
Expertise in cardiac procedures and patient monitoring.
Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is required.
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
50-mile radius rule applies. Locals are not accepted.
