Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 26-week travel assignment in Pikeville, Kentucky. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a dedicated cardiac facility while enjoying the beauty and close-knit community of Pikeville, located in the scenic Appalachian Mountains.

Responsibilities:

Assist in a range of cardiac catheterization lab procedures, including angioplasties, pacemaker insertions, and stent placements.
Monitor and assess patients pre- and post-procedure, providing skilled nursing care throughout.
Administer medications as needed and maintain sterile techniques in compliance with safety protocols.
Collaborate with cardiologists and Cath Lab team members to deliver excellent patient care and optimize patient outcomes.
Document patient care accurately and efficiently, reporting changes in patient status promptly.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab RN role.
Licensure: Active KY RN license (or compact license).
Certifications: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association); CCRN preferred.
