Teletherapy Teacher Of The Visually Impaired (TVI) Job For North Carolina School District

Sunbelt is working with a school district in North Carolina who is in need a of Teacher for the Visually Impaired. Here are some details about the position:

  • 1099 Contract
  • 2024-2025 School Year 
  • K-12 Students
  • Virtual materials included with employment

Responsibilities 

  • Provide individualized and group instruction via teleconferencing platforms, focusing on adapted curriculum, braille literacy, and assistive technology skills.
  • Modify and adapt instructional materials to meet the unique needs of visually impaired students while aligning with state standards.
  • Work closely with general and special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to create a cohesive learning environment for students

In order to qualify for this position, you must have the following:

  • Active Teacher for the Visually Impaired License in NC
  • Passed Vocovison Tech Screening 
  • Liability Insurance obtained prior to start date
