Job Post: Speech Therapist (SLP) – Tele practice Position – California

Location: Remote

Job Type: Part Time / Full Time

Position Overview: As a Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students. Using a virtual platform, you will collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to create and carry out therapy plans created to meet each student’s individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language evaluations to assess students’ communication developments.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results and student goals.
Provide virtual speech therapy services for students, including individual and small group sessions.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure the student’s speech and language needs are being met.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure ongoing progression in students.
Maintain records of therapy sessions and IEP progress.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active CA state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is highly preferred.
Previous experience delivering teletherapy.
Familiarity with IEP processes.
