Job Title: Virtual Special Education Teacher – 1099 Contract

Location: Remote (North Carolina)

Position Overview: VocoVision is seeking a compassionate and qualified Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team. This 1099 contract position offers the flexibility to provide virtual, individualized support to students in North Carolina, helping them reach their academic potential in a remote learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students with special education needs.
Develop and implement customized IEPs based on each student’s unique requirements.
Create engaging and accessible lessons using a variety of virtual tools and resources.
Collaborate with school teams, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective student support.
Track student progress and make adjustments to teaching strategies as needed to ensure success.
Use adaptive technology to enhance learning and student engagement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Active North Carolina state certification in Special Education.
Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
