Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join our dynamic virtual team in California. As a 1099 independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to work from home while providing specialized virtual instruction to students with hearing impairments. You will be fully supported by a clinical and technical team and will have access to a comprehensive toolkit designed to assist in delivering creative and effective lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide virtual teaching services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
Develop and implement personalized lesson plans and IEPs
Conduct assessments and track student progress
Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure student success
Utilize our digital platform and resources to create engaging, interactive lessons

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Active California certification or licensure in Deaf Education
Experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
Experience with virtual teaching is preferred, but not required
