Job Description

Florida School Districts are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist teacher! This fully remote position is a 1099 contract role, where you will play an essential part in supporting children with communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to create individualized therapy strategies.
Provide direct therapy and interventions aimed at enhancing students' communication skills and academic success.
Foster an inclusive and engaging environment that encourages student participation.
Track and document student progress, behaviors, and achievements, ensuring accurate and thorough records.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or a related field.
Active Florida state licensure as a speech language pathologist.
Prior experience working with children with speech and language disorders is highly preferred.
Knowledge of various communication challenges, such as articulation, fluency, and language processing difficulties.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues!
