Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Virtual Sign Language Interpreter to join our remote team in California. This 1099 independent contractor position offers the flexibility to work from home while providing sign language interpretation to students in virtual educational settings. You will have access to a clinical and technical support team, as well as a comprehensive toolkit to support lesson planning and student engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide virtual sign language interpretation services for students in educational settings
Collaborate with teachers, students, and other professionals to ensure clear communication and student success
Interpret lessons and materials across various subjects, ensuring students' understanding and participation
Adapt interpretations to meet students' needs and ensure accessibility
Utilize a comprehensive digital toolkit to enhance your virtual sessions and lesson delivery

Qualifications:

4.0 EIPA score, RID certification, ESSE-I/R assessment, or NAD/ACCI assessment required

Previous experience with remote or teletherapy services is a plus
