Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team near Teaneck, New Jersey. This full-time role involves working with K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities in an inclusive and supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs.
Provide specialized instruction and support for students with mild to moderate disabilities.
Collaborate with general education staff, families, and support teams to promote student success.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, adapting strategies as needed.
Foster an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom environment.

Qualifications

Active New Jersey special education teaching license/certification is required.
Previous experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
A passion for making a difference in students’ lives through individualized support.
