Type: Travel/Contract

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 36 hours per week, rotating shifts with every other weekend and holiday. 

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a leading medical facility in McKeesport, PA, for a Step Down unit assignment. This role is ideal for a skilled RN looking to enhance their expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the Step Down unit.
  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Step Down unit.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
