Job Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students (Preschool through 4th grade) in Mayfield, Ohio. This full-time position involves providing speech and language therapy, working with young students to improve communication skills and ensure academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Therapy Services: Provide speech and language therapy to preschool through 4th-grade students, focusing on speech articulation, language comprehension, social communication, and early literacy skills.
- IEP Development & Implementation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s needs.
- Progress Monitoring & Assessment: Regularly assess student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to meet evolving goals.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate speech therapy goals into classroom activities and support students across different environments.

Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Ohio SLP License (required)
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children, especially in a school setting, is preferred

- Passion for helping young children build critical communication skills
- Experience working with early childhood development and special education
