Job Description

We are working with a school district near Carmel, Indiana area to meet their need for a Special Education Teacher.

Job Description:

37.5 hour per week contract for the remainder of the current school year
K-1st grade Special Education caseload
Job responsibilities include:
- administering assessments and evaluations
- adapting curriculum to accommodate the diverse needs of each individual student
- establishing short and long term goals
- providing instructional services and support
- active collaboration with related service providers, school administration, and parents
- ensuring compliance with established timelines
Job requirements:
- Indiana Special Education Teacher license
- recent experience working with kindergarten through first grade population
