Job Description

Seeking to hire full time Special Education Teachers for a district near the Monterey, CA area. The district is looking to hire teachers directly with the assist of our agency.

There are multiple positions in K-12 open. These cases are for an SDC teacher in a mild to moderate classroom.

Responsibilities:

Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of all students.
Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of all students.
Prepares for classes assigned, and shows written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor.
Assesses the accomplishments of all students using multiple methods and provides evidence of learning as required.
Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
Works to establish and maintain open lines of communication with students and their parents concerning both the broad academic and behavioral progress of all assigned students.
Establishes and maintains cooperative relations with the district staff.
Attends staff meetings and serves on staff committees as necessary and desirable.

Qualifications:

Preliminary or Clear Education Specialist Instruction Credential or eligible for emergency Education Specialist Instruction Credential
