Job Description

Sunbelt is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team in providing individualized educational support to students with disabilities.

Job Details:

Develop and deliver individualized or small group instruction to students with special needs, tailored to meet their specific goals and objectives as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Collaborate with other professionals, parents, and administrators to create and implement IEPs that are responsive to each student’s strengths, needs, and goals. Monitor and adjust instruction based on IEP progress.
Continuously assess student progress toward academic and behavioral goals. Maintain accurate records of student achievements, and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and team members.
Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes learning, safety, and respect. Implement strategies to manage behavior and foster a supportive atmosphere.
