Skilled Nursing Facility Physical Therapist (PT) Opportunity w/ Benefits - Thomson, GA

A skilled nursing facility near Thomson, GA, area is in search of a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to fill a year-long W2 contract position. This role comes with comprehensive benefits, guaranteed hours and mentorship

Qualifications to Apply: 

  • Bachelor's of Science in PT (at minimum) 
  • Active Georgia PT License 

Contract Duration & Hours: 

  • Contract lasts one year from start date, with the possibility of extension 
  • Full-time, 32 guaranteed hours per week (up to 40 hours per week)

Position Duties: 

  • Create therapy programs and provide direct therapy to individuals with physical disabilities and functional limitations
  • Receive support from a PTA to manage caseload 
  • Direct and assist patients in exercises and the use of devices, such as wheelchairs 
  • Educate patients and families on the appropriate physical therapy methods 
  • Spend four days per week at one facility and one day per week at another
