Job Description

VocoVision is seeking a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in Michigan to provide remote instruction and educational support to students with visual impairments.

Position Highlights:

Location: Fully remote, serving students in Michigan
Schedule: Full-time or part-time availability
Contract Duration: ASAP – EOSY
Caseload: K-12 students requiring individualized instruction and accessibility accommodations
Duties Include:
Provide virtual lessons and adaptive strategies for visually impaired students
Train students and educators on assistive technology and accessible materials
Work with IEP teams to implement personalized learning plans
Monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies based on student needs

Required Qualifications:

Michigan Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school-based setting
Knowledge of Braille instruction and adaptive technology
Comfortable using virtual platforms for instruction
