Job Description

VocoVision is seeking a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in Michigan to provide remote instruction and educational support to students with visual impairments.

Position Highlights:

  • Location: Fully remote, serving students in Michigan
  • Schedule: Full-time or part-time availability
  • Contract Duration: ASAP – EOSY
  • Caseload: K-12 students requiring individualized instruction and accessibility accommodations
  • Duties Include:
  • Provide virtual lessons and adaptive strategies for visually impaired students
  • Train students and educators on assistive technology and accessible materials
  • Work with IEP teams to implement personalized learning plans
  • Monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies based on student needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Michigan Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school-based setting
  • Knowledge of Braille instruction and adaptive technology
  • Comfortable using virtual platforms for instruction
