Job Description

VocoVision is looking for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in Michigan to provide virtual instruction and adaptive learning support to students with visual impairments.

Position Overview:

  • Location: Fully remote, serving students in Michigan
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
  • Contract Duration: ASAP – EOSY
  • Caseload: K-12 students needing specialized virtual instruction
  • Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging remote lessons customized for visually impaired students
  • Utilize and train students on screen readers, Braille, and other adaptive technologies
  • Collaborate with IEP teams to create personalized education plans
  • Support students in developing independent learning and daily living skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Michigan TVI certification required
  • Experience with Braille, screen readers, and accessibility tools
