Job Description

VocoVision is looking for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in Michigan to provide virtual instruction and adaptive learning support to students with visual impairments.

Position Overview:

Location: Fully remote, serving students in Michigan
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Contract Duration: ASAP – EOSY
Caseload: K-12 students needing specialized virtual instruction
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging remote lessons customized for visually impaired students
Utilize and train students on screen readers, Braille, and other adaptive technologies
Collaborate with IEP teams to create personalized education plans
Support students in developing independent learning and daily living skills

Required Qualifications:

Michigan TVI certification required
Experience with Braille, screen readers, and accessibility tools
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school-based or clinical setting
