Job Description

The role is focused on providing tailored educational experiences for a diverse K-12 caseload, emphasizing individualized instruction aligned with each student's IEP.

Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
  • Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and district regulations regarding IEPs
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills with parents, staff, and other professionals
  • Ability to develop and implement behavior intervention plans as needed
  • Experience with case management and the RtI process

Location:

  • Surprise, AZ

Responsibilities:

  • Provide case management services for students with IEPs
  • Maintain compliance with all regulations and requirements for IEP documentation
  • Deliver direct instruction in accordance with IEP goals
  • Develop and implement a full continuum of services tailored to student needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress
  • Consult with colleagues on the RtI process and behavioral support strategies
  • Work collaboratively with staff to ensure the implementation of accommodations and modifications
  • Create and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students

This role is set to commence ASAP and will continue through May 22, 2025, with a schedule of 12-20 hours per week, excluding Mondays.
