Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking dedicated Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for school-based positions for the 2025-2026 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to support students with visual impairments and help them thrive in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet student needs.
Teach Braille, assistive technology, and other adaptive learning strategies.
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff.
Adapt classroom materials to ensure accessibility for students with visual impairments.

Requirements:

Valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired.
Experience working with students with visual impairments.
Knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and orientation & mobility strategies preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
