Dynamic teaching professional sought for a specialized role in a K-12 educational setting. This position focuses on providing tailored support and instruction to students with visual impairments, fostering an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Current Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience working with students from preschool through 12th grade
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and case management
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Location: Glendale, AZ

Responsibilities:

• Provide case management services for students with IEPs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations regarding IEPs
• Deliver direct instruction aligned with individual IEP goals
• Develop and implement a full continuum of services for students
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided
• Consult in the Response to Intervention (RtI) process
• Foster ongoing communication with parents and guardians
• Implement behavior management strategies and intervention plans
• Collaborate with staff to ensure the effective application of accommodations and modifications
• Create and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
