Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join a school district in Chesterfield, VA. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with students with visual impairments, supporting their academic and functional success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Adapt curriculum materials to meet students' needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff.
  • Utilize assistive technology to enhance student learning.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Virginia TVI certification (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience working with visually impaired students (preferred).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
