Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license
• Strong understanding of typical TVI duties and responsibilities
• Experience working with students with visual impairments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure comprehensive support for students
• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
• Provide direct instruction in specialized areas as required
• Engage with families and caregivers to support student development and learning goals
