Job Description

A part-time position is available for a licensed New Jersey Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) in an elementary school setting. This role focuses on providing individualized support to one elementary student, fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education; a master’s degree is preferred.
Active TDHH certification in New Jersey.
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Location:
Toms River, NJ

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement tailored educational plans for the student.
Collaborate with other educational staff to ensure comprehensive support.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
Communicate effectively with the student and their family regarding progress and needs.
Maintain accurate records of student activities and progress.
