Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Deaf & Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH) to provide specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments in Granite Falls, MN. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by fostering an inclusive learning environment and ensuring students receive the accommodations they need to succeed.
Provide direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive classroom experience.
Utilize assistive technology and specialized instructional techniques to enhance student learning.
Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to adjust instruction as needed.
Advocate for student accommodations and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field.
Valid Minnesota DHH teaching certification.
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred.
Experience working with students with varying levels of hearing loss.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
