Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing? Join VocoVision as a remote Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) and provide exceptional educational services to students across Nevada - all from the comfort of your home.

Job Description:

  • Deliver virtual instruction and intervention services to students with hearing impairments
  • Support students in developing communication, literacy, and academic skills
  • Adapt curriculum and learning materials for accessibility
  • Provide training and resources to teachers, families, and school staff on best practices
  • Monitor progress and adjust individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education
  • Current Nevada TDHH license/certification
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology
  • Comfortable using assistive devices, speech-to-text programs, and sign language (ASL proficiency is a plus)
