Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) to provide itinerant services near Sterling, VA. This position supports PreK-12 students across various locations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs
  • Develop and track IEP goals and progress
  • Implement research-based strategies for language and literacy development
  • Support classroom teachers in adapting curriculum for students with hearing impairments
  • Travel between school sites to provide direct and consultative services

Requirements:

  • Virginia Special Education License – Deaf/Hard of Hearing (PreK-12) 
  • Strong understanding of assistive technology and communication strategies
  • Experience working with diverse student needs (preferred)
