An engaging opportunity is available for a dedicated professional specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) education. This role is set in a supportive K-12 school environment in Silver City, NM, where you will address the diverse needs of students with varying degrees of hearing loss.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in DHH
• Proven experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Proficient in various communication methods, including sign language

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored educational programs for students with DHH.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and families to enhance student learning.

• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP documentation.
