Job Description

An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to support students in a K-12 educational environment, focusing on deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) needs. This contract position is based in Santa Clara, NM, and runs from March 31, 2025, to May 30, 2025, with a commitment of 15 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification in deaf and hard-of-hearing education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with mixed-age groups and varying levels of severity in DHH
  • Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) effectively
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and teaching strategies for DHH students

Location: Santa Clara, NM, with assignments in a K-12 school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored instructional plans for students with DHH
