Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a school-based position in Oklahoma City, OK for the 2025-2026 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' educational and communication development.

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction to students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Utilize various communication methods, including ASL, cued speech, and assistive technology.
Collaborate with general education teachers, speech therapists, and other support staff.
Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.

Requirements:

Valid Oklahoma teaching certification in Deaf Education.
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred.
Experience working with students with hearing impairments in an educational setting.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
