Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and emotional development.
  • Utilize appropriate communication methods to engage students effectively.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and IEP compliance.

Qualifications:

  • MA TDHH licensure is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with various teaching methodologies and assistive technologies.
