A part-time position is available for a licensed Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) in Barnegat, NJ. This role focuses on providing personalized educational support to an elementary student on a one-to-one basis for the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Active New Jersey TDHH certification.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Location:
Barnegat, NJ

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the student's needs.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and other professionals to enhance the educational experience.
• Utilize appropriate teaching methods and materials to facilitate learning.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development as required.
