Qualifications:

• Valid Oklahoma Special Education Teaching licensure
• Experience working with students with disabilities, particularly in an elementary setting

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement appropriate instructional programs for a caseload of either 17-18 students with mild to moderate disabilities or a self-contained classroom with up to 5 students.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to create a comprehensive learning atmosphere.
• Regularly assess and document student progress, adapting strategies to meet individual needs.
• Conduct IEP meetings and maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
• Ensure a supportive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning.
