An opportunity is available for a dedicated Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDT-C) to support middle school students in Vineland, NJ. This role is crucial in providing specialized instruction and guidance to help students with learning disabilities thrive in an academic environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid NJDOE Certification as Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDTC)
• Proven experience in case management and conducting evaluations
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff

Location: Vineland, NJ, primarily serving a middle school caseload.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee case management for students with learning disabilities
• Conduct evaluations to assess student needs and academic progress
• Collaborate with the Child Study Team (CST) to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Facilitate IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
• Ensure compliance with state and district regulations regarding special education services
