VocoVision is partnering with a forward-thinking K-12 school district in Michigan to fill a full-time Virtual Special Education Teaching position. This is a remote opportunity ideal for certified professionals passionate about making a difference in students liveswherever you are.
We are seeking a dedicated, licensed Special Education Teacher who is comfortable working in a virtual environment and committed to providing excellent instructional and support services. This position starts ASAP and runs through the full 20252026 school year.
Job Title: Virtual Special Education Teacher
Location: Remote (Michigan school district)
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: End of 20252026 school year
Grade Levels: K12 (specific assignments may vary)
Caseload: Will be discussed during the interview
Deliver virtual instruction and support to students with diverse needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
Communicate effectively with parents, administrators, and team members
Use VocoVisions secure teletherapy platform to provide interactive and engaging instruction
Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching License
Bachelor's or Masters degree in Special Education or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with disabilities
Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance
Comfortable with technology and virtual instruction tools
Ability to pass a technical screening and background check
