Job Description

VocoVision at Sunbelt has a new opening for a fully remote School Special Education opportunity! Special education teachers play a crucial role in the educational system by working with students who have a wide range of learning, mental, emotional, and physical disabilities.

Some key aspects of the role:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other support staff
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student performance


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Active Connecticut Licensure in Special Education.
  • Experience in virtual or traditional special education settings.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and IEP processes.
  • Proficiency in virtual learning platforms and technology tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
