Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective educational experiences.
  • Utilize virtual tools and platforms to engage students and deliver instruction.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching License.
  • Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs.
  • Strong proficiency with virtual teaching tools and technology.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
