Sunbelt is currently seeking a Full-Time Special Education Teacher to join a dedicated team in Salina, Kansas. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact by providing specialized education to students with various disabilities in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Qualifications:

• Special Education Certification in the state of KS

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Provide direct instruction and support tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and staff to ensure an integrated approach to learning.
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instructional methods as necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress, behavior, and IEP goals.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and areas of improvement.
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
