Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed and passionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract position in a supportive school district near Richmond,Maine. This role will begin on July 1, 2025, and run through the full 20252026 school year.

Position Details:
Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: School district in Maine (specific location shared upon screening)
Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday
Duration: Entire 20252026 school year
Caseload: Elementary, middle, or high schoolbased on experience and district needs
Disabilities: Mild to moderate (may include IEP development, resource room support, and push-in services)

Qualifications:
Must hold an active Special Education Teaching License in the state of Maine
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
