A dedicated professional is needed to provide specialized educational support in an engaging elementary school environment. This position focuses on fostering the learning and development of students in grades K-5 with diverse educational needs.

Location:
Raleigh, NC

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.
• Utilize resources such as the Hill Rap program and Ascend Math to enhance learning outcomes.
• Provide both push-in and pull-out services, meeting with students 2-3 times a week for 30 minutes to an hour.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina Special Education Teaching License.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in inclusive settings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
• Familiarity with various instructional programs and resources for students with special needs.
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 25 students.
