Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with educational staff to support students in both push-in and pull-out classroom settings.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies to promote successful learning outcomes.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social and emotional development.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and challenges.

Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State special education teaching license.
• Previous experience in special education is preferred.
• Strong understanding of behavioral, learning, and social disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
