Job Description

Seeking a dedicated professional with expertise in special education to support the diverse needs of students in an elementary school setting. This role is focused on creating an inclusive and nurturing environment that promotes individualized learning and development.

Qualifications:

Valid state certification in Special Education
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education; Master’s degree preferred
Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Knowledge of current best practices in special education

Location:
Beverly, NJ

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student’s education
Create a supportive learning environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress and challenges
Provide ongoing assessment and documentation of student progress and outcomes
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training as required
