Location: Alexandria, VA
Hours: 35 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate student achievement to inform instructional strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of assessments and evaluations.
• Develop and implement appropriate instructional and learning activities.
• Manage student behavior to create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow staff to coordinate instructional activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and needs.
• Maintain progress reports to track and share student development.

Qualifications:

• Virginia Special Education License as DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing).
• Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Proficient in documentation and maintaining progress reports.
