Remote School Social Worker Position Available for Pennsylvania Schools

Position Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Remote School Social Worker to provide vital support to students in Pennsylvania. This fully remote position allows you to work from home while making a significant difference in students' emotional well-being and academic progress. As a School Social Worker, you will deliver virtual counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support, collaborating closely with educators, parents, and school administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer individual and group counseling sessions to students remotely using telehealth platforms.
• Design and implement social-emotional learning (SEL) programs to promote students' mental health and emotional development.
• Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling for students dealing with immediate social or emotional issues.
• Work closely with school staff, including teachers and administrators, to identify and address students' mental health needs.
• Maintain detailed and confidential case records, treatment plans, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Pennsylvania.
• Experience working in a school setting or with children and adolescents is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of child development, behavioral health, and social-emotional learning.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and remote communication tools.
