Job Description

A structured environment in an educational setting is seeking a dedicated professional to provide vital social services to students. This role focuses on fostering the well-being and academic success of K-12 students through comprehensive social work practices.

Location: Naperville, IL
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, onsite
Duration: August 18, 2025, to May 29, 2026

Qualifications:

  • Valid state license in social work
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Experience working with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective interventions
  • Knowledge of educational policies and social service resources

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for students' social and emotional issues
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create a conducive learning environment
  • Implement individual and group counseling sessions tailored to student needs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Maintain detailed documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student care
