Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Social Worker to join our team in Green Bay, WI, for the remainder of the current school year. This full-time position will support students in a K-12 school setting, providing social, emotional, and behavioral support to students and their families. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Spanish/English) and have experience working in a K-12 school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students in K-12, focusing on social, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop intervention plans to address issues such as mental health, behavior, and social challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support in times of trauma or emergency situations.
  • Assist students in developing coping strategies and conflict resolution skills.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, assessments, and interventions.
  • Attend and participate in school meetings, including IEP meetings, as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Active Wisconsin School Social Worker License 
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
  • Experience working as a Social Worker in a K-12 school setting is preferred.
