Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive social work services to students, addressing behavioral and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with a seasoned School Social Worker to develop and implement behavior intervention plans.
• Conduct assessments and reviews to evaluate student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
• Facilitate training and workshops for staff on behavioral techniques and de-escalation methods.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois School Social Worker certification with a Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a plus.
• Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
