Qualifications:

  • Valid School Social Work License
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in specialized classrooms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals

Location:

  • Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to approximately 35 students across different grade levels
  • Develop and implement personalized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff
  • Conduct assessments to understand students' social, emotional, and educational needs
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff on social-emotional learning
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Coordinate with families to ensure continuity of care and support
