Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, planning, and intervention services for students facing social and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with a seasoned School Social Worker to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans.
  • Respond to crisis situations with de-escalation techniques and support.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations as required to monitor student progress and adjust interventions.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to promote a positive school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois School Social Worker’s credential with PEL.
  • Certified BCBA in Illinois, also holding a PEL.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
  • Experience in writing behavioral assessments and developing intervention strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
