Qualifications:

• Valid social work license (LSWA, LSW, LCSW, or LICSW).
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with middle school students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and document progress appropriately.
• Knowledge of IEPs and the process for writing progress reports.

Location:

• Boston, MA, specifically in the Roxbury area, with accessibility to South Boston, Dorchester, and Brookline.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct weekly sessions with a caseload of approximately 28 students, each for 30 minutes.
• Provide additional support through drop-in services for at-risk students as needed.
• Facilitate a Student Support Team meeting with school leadership once a week to strategize on student needs.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all sessions and progress.
• Collaborate with educators to assist in school-wide support, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
